HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!

¡Hello again, fellow adventurers!

Today we're taking a little off-topic detour in our usual posts. And naturally, the one talking to you has to officially introduce himself!

So... Hello there! I'm David, though over the years across different platforms, you might know me by my handle, "Ophiel."

I currently have the privilege of being the third partner at 8 Bits Legends Miniforge, serving as the company's 3D printer, Game Designer for Relic Masters, and a proud project tester since its very beginnings.

My resume in this genre, just like the rest of the team's, is long and full of trials and triumphs (or "adventures and misadventures," if you like!). At 34, I have over 20 years of experience and adventures in the world of fantasy literature, both tabletop and virtual RPGs, and games of all kinds.

My first brush with skirmish games was the second "Héroes en la Sombra" national tournament for Anima Tactics. And I have to admit, it was a game-changer. Ever since, I've been one more devoted fan of the world of lead, plastic, and resin in all its forms

On another note, I'm also a die-hard roleplayer.

My journey began with that D&D 3.5 edition we all get nostalgic for sometimes, guided by my Master for life, Manolo. I want to take a moment to send him a huge shout-out, as it was thanks to him that I see myself capable of dreaming today. He taught me that if you have an idea, your duty is to chase it until it becomes a reality, no matter the obstacles in the way. There's always an ingenious workaround; you just need the time and creativity to find it.

Since then, I’ve been involved in many different systems: D&D, Pathfinder, Anima Beyond Fantasy, World of Darkness, Cthulhu... And other systems that might not be as well-known but are just as, if not more, fun, both from the player's side and the Game Master's.

And that's why, naturally, I hope to bring the depth and substance in terms of background and lore that Relic Masters truly deserves.
